Park machine on a level surface, lower cutting deck, stop engine, apply parking brake and remove key from the ignition switch. 2. Remove battery cover and strap. Disconnect nega- tive battery cable first and then positive battery cable.

There may possibly be more than one cause for a machine malfunction. Refer to the T esting section of this Chapter for precau- tions and specific test procedures.
