12 Descaling We recommend that you descale your Cof feemaker once a month because mineral deposits can form a coating in the Coffeemaker , causing slower br ewing time and possibly an off flavor in the coffee. Use a cleaner r ecommended for coffee- makers or the solution described below .

10 To Start Br ewing Coffee Immediately 1. For optimal holding temperature, rinse the inside of Thermal Carafe with warm water before br ewing; empty and make sure the Carafe Lid Lever is at the back of the Carafe and the Lid is properly secur ed.
