5 IV . Quick Setting the T100 The Atomic Synchronization allows you to utilize the simpl e steps below to set the T100. 6 V . Setting the T100 Programming Outline The fo llowing is a refe rence list of the programming order and defaults. Reminder: Pressing <AM IN> allows you to sk ip unne cessar y step s. The numbers below ma tch the numbers of the detail programming steps: Enter programming mode 1.

8 1. Setting Pay P eriod and Current Print Line The T100 can be programm ed for weekly or bi-wee kly pay periods. T o Set W eekly Pay Periods • Press <O T IN> to adv ance the current day o f week. The “ 2 ” indicates a weekly pay p eriod. Note: Set the clock to the current day of week.
9 2. Setting T ime (T ime may be set using the Atomic Synchronization by leaving T100 plugg ed in overn ight. On ce the “Ato mic Sign al Sync hronization Indi cator” is on the time is set.
10 5. Setting t he Minute Printing Form at The T100 will print in standard minutes (6 0) or in decimal hundredths (100) of an hour . Decimal hundred ths al low time ca lculatio ns without having to convert minutes to decimal hours. 12: 45 will be print ed 12:4 5 in the standard minute form at or as 12 .
11 8. Daylight Saving T i me (DST) The DST setting (2 007 forward) is as fol l ows: The starting time is 2:00 A M on the second S unday in March. The endi ng time is 2:00 AM on the first Sunday in November . The Atomic Synchronization will adjust the T100 automatically for Daylight Savi ng T ime.
12 10. Setting T wo-Color Printi ng T ime cards c an be a udited more easily by highlighting pun ches outside the normal work schedule in Re d. The T100 allows 18 re d/black color changes. If you set a color change it will occur every day . Note: The de fault color is black.

14 11. Setting the Signal T one T ime s The T10 0 allows for 32 scheduled audible sig nals. If yo u set a signal it will occur every day and sound fo r the set signal duration. Followi ng is a sample schedule of even ts for an 8:00 AM to 5:00 P M work schedule with one hour lunc h from 12 :00 Noon to 1:00 PM (13:00).

Setting Signal Duration The T100 can produce a sign al for 0 to 30 seconds (Default is 5 se conds). • Press <AM IN> once (If enterin g programming mode be gin at “Inputting the Default Password” section & continue to this step).
16 13. Changing the Default Password The T100 uses a four -dig it password to pro tect programm ed settings. Note: once the p assword is set you will be asked to enter it ea ch time you ente r the programmi ng mode. If you set a new pa ss word you should write it down and s tore i t in a sa fe plac e.
17 VI. Operating the T100 The print on the ti me card progresses to the right through out the da y as the IN/OUT butto ns are p ressed. The T100 prin ts in th e column of the time card indicated on the lower line of the T ime Clock Display .
18 VII. Installing the T100 The T100 may b e insta lled on a flat sur face or wall-moun ted. No special wiring is need ed. However , we recomm end installing the T100 on a separate power circuit.
19 4. Line u p the keyholes o n the back of th e T100 with the mounting screws. Slide the T100 downward to sec ure it to the wall. 5. S ecure mounting bracket to wall with screw (included) or mark hole and install screw anchor (include d) if necessary .
20 VIII. Maintenance The cas e may be c leaned wi th a mi ld detergent. Do not use any chemical cleaner s as they could dama ge or discol or the case. Replacing the ribbon Replace the ribbon when the print become s l i ght or hard to read. Use the T112 repl acement ribbon cassett e.

22 Location o f fuses The fuse panel is located on the back of the T100 in th e lower left corner . T o access fuses, disconnect the power fro m the clock a nd remove the screw that secures door . Replace blown fuse with onl y the same rated fuse . Do not substitute.
