page 5 General Description SECTION I The Hastings Digital V acuum Gauge, Model DNV -33D, incorporates proven Hastings thermo- pile technology to produce a linear vacuum gauge that co vers the range of 1-1000 mT orr. The digital display reads directly in mT orr.

page 7 SECTION II Operating Principle The operation of Hastings vacuum gauges uses a patented noble metal thermopile circuit. The hot junctions of the thermopile are heated directly by an A C current while an equal number of cold junctions are kept at ambient tempera ture by hea vy mounting studs.
