Connections and Setup 9 EN T uning in a video channel on your TV If your tele vision is not fitted with a Scar t sock et, you w ere unable to connect it to the A V1 sock et of the D VD/VCR using a Scart cable as shown on page 6, step 3. In this case, you must mak e below settings before y ou start the automatic channel set-up (page 10).
Connections and Setup 10 EN T uning in TV channels The first time you use the D VD/VCR, y ou will see the A CMS (Automatic Channel Memor y System) displa yed on the scr een. This system automatically tunes and stores TV channels. If you want to return to ACMS after y our initial set-up, access it via the menu ( A CMS ).

14 Recor ding EN VCR Recording options Recording fr om an A V socket If you wish to r ecord fr om the A V2 sock et located on the back panel of the D VD/VCR or fr om the A V3 sockets located on the fr ont panel, press the AV button to select the appr opriate audio/video mode (A V2 or A V3).
Recor ding 15 EN VCR Pr ogramming a r ecording Programming a r ecording can be done up to one month in advance with up to se ven recor dings being pre-pr ogrammed. Ensur e the television channels ha ve been tuned and stor ed correctly and that the clock is set to the correct time.

25 Info menu EN DV D Using the Info menu Y ou can displa y information about the disc during pla yback using the Info menu. It will also allo w y ou to access certain functions. To displa y the menu, pr ess PLA Y to start playback and then pr ess the INFO button (yellow) on the r emote control.
