11 nitial set-up of your oven I Setting the time of day After your appliance is connected to your mains supply for the first time, you must set the time of day before you can use the oven.
12 o We would recommend that an appr opriate stainless steel cleaner and polish is regularly used on the stainless steel surfaces of this appliance. Timer functions The minute minder function The minute minder function is a count down time that can be set on the oven programmer/timer.
13 The duration cooking function This function will allow you to se t a countdown time similar to the minute minder function, however the oven will switch off at the end of the cooking time. o Place the food that you want to cook inside of the oven and close the door.
14 The end of cooking function This function is similar to the duration function, however instead of setting a countdown time, you select the time of day that you want the oven to switch off at. o Place the food that you want to cook inside of the oven and close the door.
15 The automatic cooking function This function will allow you to set the time of day that you want the oven to switch off at and how long you want the oven to cook for. o Place the food that you want to cook inside of the oven and close the door. o Select an oven function and cook ing temperature using the relevant control knobs.
16 Cancelling a timer function o Press and hold down the plus button (9) and the programme button (10) simultaneously, until you hear a beep. The automatic cooking symbol (5) will go out. o If you are half way through programming the timer and would like to cancel it and/or start again, press and hold the program button (10) .
Selecting a cooking function and temperature IMPORTANT: Make sure that you have set your oven into manual operation mode before selecting an oven function and temperature. Cleaning and maintenance Cleaning operations must on ly be carried out when the oven is cool. The appliance should be disc onnected from your mains supply before commencing any cleaning p rocess. o The oven should be thoroughly clea ned before it is operated for the first time and after each use.
Replacing the oven bulb IMPORTANT: The oven must be disconnected from your mains supply before you attempt to either remove or replace the oven bulb. o Remove the oven shelves and the baking tray. o Remove the light cover by turning it anti-clockwise.
o The oven door and door glass sh ould only be cleaned using a damp cloth and a small amount of detergent. The cloth MUST NOT have come into contact with any form of cleaning product or chemical previously. o To refit the door you should slide the hinges back into their slots and open the door fully.
INSTALLATION The installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified person, in accordance with the current version of the following. o UK Regulations and Safety Standards or their European Norm Replacements. o Building Regulations (issued by the Department of the Environment).
o If you have to change the ov en power cord, the earthing (yellow/green) conductor must always be 10 mm longer than the line conductors. o Care must be taken to ensure that the temperature of the mains supply cable does not exceed 50°C.
