T AR GUS OPTICAL BLUET OO TH ® MOUSE Intr oduction Congratulations on your purchase of the T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse. This mouse uses Bluetooth wireless technology which provides seamless connections up to 33ft (10M) in range.
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse Installing the Bat teries • Use the two AAA-size batteries • Remov e the battery cover from the bac k of the mouse by sliding off the co ver while pressing the release b utton at the bottom of the mouse.

T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse Initial Congur ation Before you can begin using y our Bluetooth mouse, you will first need to perform some initial setup steps. The Bluetooth Optical notebook mouse is designed to work with the four major software stack (protocol) standards: WIDCOMM, T oshiba, Microsoft and Mac OS X.

T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse 3. Please turn on the mouse and press the connection ID button located at the bottom of the mouse until the LED on the mouse blinks green (discov er y mode). Clic k Ne xt to continue pairing and the computer will search for the mouse .
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse 5. After selecting the correct de vice, the computer will finish establishing the connection. Please w ait until the setup is completed.
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse Connecting with Bluetooth Sof tware: T OSH IBA (Windows Vista) 1. Double click on the Bluetooth Manager icon in the system tra y , and then click Add Ne w Connection .
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse 3. The computer will now search for the Bluetooth mouse and other Bluetooth de vices. Please wait until the search is completed. Choose the device you wish to connect. There ma y be more than one Bluetooth de vice detected.

T o enab le “discov ery” mode, turn on the mouse and press the connection ID button located at the bottom of the device until the light in the middle blinks green light.

T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse T r ouble shooting The mouse is not working. • Make sure that the polarity of the batteries is correct. The positive (+) and negativ e (-) ends of each batter y must match the positive (+) and negativ e (-) connections in the batter y housing.
