T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse Initial Congur ation Bef ore you can begin using y our Bluetooth mouse, y ou will first need to perf or m some initial setup steps. The Bluetooth Optical notebook mouse is designed to work with the f our major software stac k (protocol) standards: WIDCOMM, T oshiba, Microsoft and Mac OS X.
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse Connecting with Bluetooth So f twar e: WI DCOM M or Micr oso f t (Windows XP & Windows Vista) 1. Go to the Bluetooth Places icon located on your desktop or in the system tra y and doub le clic k, then clic k Add a Bluetooth De vice .
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse 3. Please tur n on the mouse and press the connection ID button located at the bottom of the mouse until the LED on the mouse b links green (discov er y mode). Click Next to continue pair ing and the computer will search f or the mouse.
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse 5. After selecting the correct device , the computer will finish estab lishing the connection. Please wait until the setup is completed.

T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse 3. The computer will now search f or the Bluetooth mouse and other Bluetooth de vices. Please wait until the search is completed. Choose the de vice you wish to connect. There ma y be more than one Bluetooth de vice detected.
T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse 5. The connection is estab lished and setup is complete . The de vice is ready to use. If the connection is not successful, please clic k Bac k and search the de vice again. Y ou can continue to add other Bluetooth de vices or close the window .

T o enab le “discov er y” mode, tur n on the mouse and press the connection ID b utton located at the bottom of the device until the light in the middle b links green light.

T argus Optical Bluetooth Mouse T r oubleshooting The mouse is not w orking. • Mak e sure that the polarity of the batter ies is correct. The positiv e (+) and negativ e (-) ends of each batter y must match the positiv e (+) and negativ e (-) connections in the batter y housing.
