4 PREP ARA TION CONNECTING A MOT OROLA M ICRO T AC SERIES BA T TER Y The conditioner/c harger is designed to charge a Motorola Micro Tac seri es battery that you can m ount directly onto the condition er/charger.

6 REMOVING A BA TTER Y 1. Press down on the battery’s lock- ing tab. 2. Push the ba ttery toward the right until it slips out of the m ounting guides. REMOVING A N ADAPTER 1. Press do wn on the a dapter ’s lock- ing tabs. 2. Push the adapter toward the right until it slips out of the conditioner/ charger ’s mounting guides.

9 CONDITIONING A RECHARGEABLE BA TTER Y To prevent yo ur b attery f rom l osing its ability to fully recharge, you must con- dition it (by discharging it) about once every 10 times you recharge it. Follow these steps to condition ( d is- charge) a rechargeable battery.
