9 V . GENERAL W ARNINGS ▲ ! A. WEIGHT LIMIT NEVER exceed the weight limit of 250 pounds (113.6 kilograms), for combined weight of rider and items carried. If you do exceed the limit, damage to your chair , a fall, tip- over or loss of contr ol ma y occur and cause sever e injury to the rider or others.

At least four feet wide. b. Guardrails. T o reduce the risk of a fall, sides of ramp must hav e guardrails (or raised borders at least three inches high).

25 IX. CHAIR BASICS A. T O FOLD & UNFOLD CHAIR NEVER let your fingers come betw een the seat rail and the frame rail when you open or fold this chair . This may cause a pinch or crush-type injury . 1. T o Fold Chair: a. Remove back insert (if any).
27 26 A. SET -UP 1. Fasteners Use of improper fasteners ma y cause the chair to fail. Over or under -tightened fasteners may fail or cause damage to chair parts. If bolts or screws become loose, tighten them as soon as you can. a. Many of the screws and bolts on this chair ar e special high-strength fasteners.
29 Front Casters a. T urn chair face up. b. Use 3/16 allen wrench and 1/2 socket wrench to r emove tw o bolts located on right front of caster fork assembl y . c. Lift caster post assembly out of existing position and insert in top mounting hole position.
