SAFETY O WNER REFERENCE GUIDE Before attempting to use this system while driving, learn how to use it . Make sure you read the entire Navigation System Owner’ s Manual. Do not allow others to use this system until they read the manual and understand the instructions.
This function allows you to set the location of the nearest police station or hospital. T o start the Navigation System, start the engine. The opening screen will appear , followed by the CAUTION screen. Read the instructions on the screen and press AGREE .

1 T o start the Navigation System, start the engine. The opening screen will appear , followed by the CAUTION screen. Read the instructions on the screen and press AGREE . The current map screen will appear . T o select a language, press MENU on the screen followed by LANGUAGE SELECTION and then select English or French by touching the screen.
4 T ouch CITY to display the city selection preference screen. 5 T ouch INPUT CITY NAME to enter the city name or select from a previously registered city .
7 Use to scroll to the selected city . T ouch the desired city . FINDING AN ADDRESS O WNER REFERENCE GUIDE 8 T ouch STREET , then enter the street name using the letter keys and touch LIST . 9 Use to scroll to the selected street. Select the street by touching the screen.
10 Enter the street address by using the number keys, and then touch OK . FINDING AN ADDRESS OWNER REFERENCE GUIDE 11 Continue to select the desired route by touching . 12 The Navigation System searches the route. Display the route on the screen by touching ST AR T and begin to drive.

SCREEN PREFERENCES From the map screen, touch . This expands the window to provide up to seven screen selections, including: Single Map Mode Dual Map Mode T urn List Mode Arrow Guidance Mode Intersect.
DEMONSTRA TION MODE 1 T o view the Demonstration mode after setting a destination, touch and hold ST AR T for 10 seconds. A beep indicates that the Demonstration mode has begun. ABOUT THE MAP DISCS. This navigation system includes two map discs covering different areas (W est and East). Select the map disc containing the destination area you wish and insert it in the Navigation System. Make sure to reselect your destination when you change the map disc.
