Safety 5.1 BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT Make sure that you ha ve removed all packaging and wrapping. Some of the items inside this appliance may have additional wrapping. GENERAL WARNING! - The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Care should be taken to avoid touching heating elements.

USING THE TOP OVEN - ELECTRIC ( if tted ) When you are cooking keep children away from the vicinity of the oven . Caution: The top element gets extremely hot when in use, so take extr a care to avoid touch- ing it. The top oven is a conv entional oven.

USING THE MAIN OVEN - ELECTRIC Slow cooking ( Setting or 100°C) • Make sure that froz en foods are thor- oughly thawed before cooking. • Do not slow cook joints of meat or poultry weighing more than 2¼kg/4½lb.

Symbol Function / Feature Recommended Uses Conventional Grill This function cooks food from the top and is ideal f or a range of food fr om toast to steaks.
GRILLING IN THE MAIN OVEN The main oven grill & fanned grill ar e xedsettingsusingtheinnerelement only . Make sure that the programmer is set to manual before grilling. When using either grill function, invert the grill pan trivet and preheat for 5minutes.
Manual operation Set the programmer to manual oper ation. See ‘Programmer / Clock’ section. T urn the selector control knob to the symbol for the desired ov en function.
Fan oven (i)T urntheselectorcontrolknobtothe fan oven symbol. (ii)T urnthemainovencontrolknobto the required temperatur e. The fan oven comes on when the o ven is switched on and circulates the air around the oven to give a f airly even temperature throughout the oven.
THE ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMMERS There are two types of progr ammer cov- ered in this section - push button & touch control. Both programmers ha ve the same symbol variants & f unctions but may vary in their method of operation.

Semi-automatic cooking There are two types of semi automatic cooking available on this appl iance. The oven must be switched on, and in use to use either of these functions success- fully . The Duration method allows you to set the ovenforaspeciclengthoftime.
SEMI-AUTOMATIC COOKING The duration method • PresstheFunctionbuttontwice,(1) which will skip past the Minute Minder . • TheLEDdisplaywillashtheword ‘dur’ ,(2)andthe‘A ’wil lashonthe left hand side of the display .
FULLY AUTOMATIC COOKING (EX- AMPLE) This programming method is best suited for when a delayed start time is r equired. Unlike the semi automatic methods this requires both the dur ation and the end time to be entered. The timer will work out the start time and begin cooking.
The touch control programmer There are three touch control icons f or this timer - the table below shows you what the symbols look like, depending on the model type, & their functions. Note - some functions require you to ‘touch & hold’ an icon for a few seconds, whilst others require you to just ‘touch’ the icon without holding.

Use the plus & minus icons to select the time the oven is required to switch of f . Once this is done the oven will switch itself off at the pre-selected time. T o turn the alarm off , touch any icon. T o cancel the semi-automatic programme at any time, touch the plus & minus icons together .

USING THE PROGRAMMER - TOUCH 2.0 Touch Control Select a function Plus - increase time or volume Minus - decrease time or volume 2.1 Touch Controls T ouching the & symbols momen- tarily increases or decreases the time by one minute (or the volume of the ACOUS- TICSIGNALbyonestep).
USING THE PROGRAMMER - TOUCH 3.0 FUNCTIONS 3.1 Start of Function When a function is selected & the time or acoustic volume is set, the chosen functionwillstartautomaticallyve seconds after setting. The display shows the current TIME of DA Y , except when the MINUTE MINDER is active.
USING THE PROGRAMMER - TOUCH Once the COOKING TIME has expired, the ACOUSTIC SIGNAL is heard. The display shows & the symbol ashes. After seven minutes maximum or after touching any of the touch control symbols, the ACOUSTIC SIGNAL stops but the symbolcontinuestoash.

DELA YED COOKING run down - the COOKING POT symbol is off until the ST ART TIME is reached.
cleaning General • It is important to clean the product regularly as a build up of fat can af - fect its performance or damage it and may inv alidate your guarantee. • Always switch off y our appliance and allow it to cool down before you clean any part of it.
Cleaning REMOVING OVEN PARTS FOR CLEANING Inner Door Glass (glass doors only) • The inner door glass panel can be removed f or cleaning but it must be replaced the right way up . If there is any writing on the glass, you must be able to read it clearly when the cavity doors are open.

installation STEP 1 : PREPARE INSTALLATION Do not lift the appliance by the door handle. Whilst every care is taken to elimi- nate burrs and raw edges f rom this product,please take care when handling - we recommend the use of protective gloves during installation.
INSTALLATION - 60CM i)Wheninstalledinatypical600mmdeep built in housing unit, the false back should be removed fr om the housing unit to provide the necessary depth for installation.
INSTALLATION - 70CM Before you start Please read the instructions carefully - planning your installation will save y ou time and effort. Look at the different w ays the appliance can be installed - as shown on the following pages - and plan the installation to suit your situation.
INSTALLATION - 70CM METHOD 1: WITHOUT HOUSING UNIT(BETWEEN 2 BASE UNITS) Before installing the appliance, check the internal dimensions as shown. The space for the appliance must be clear of obstruction. Y ou may have to cut into or remove any r ear cross members to obtain the 550mm minimum depth.
INSTALLATION - 70CM METHOD 2: HOUSING UNIT WITH INTERNAL HEIGHT LESS THAN 710MM Note:Y ouwillnotneedthe2sidetrims (687mmlong)ortheappliancerunners for this installation. Y ou will need the 2 runnerstoxtotheadjacentcabinets.
INSTALLATION - 70CM Method 3: Housing unit with internal height 710mm or more Note:Y ouwillnotneedthe4runnersand 2 trims that are packed with the oven f or this installation.
INSTALLATION - 90CM STEP1:PREPAREINST ALLA TION Do not lift the appliance by the door handle. Remov ethexingscrewsfromthe polythene bag on the top of the appliance, but leave the appliance in the base tr ay packaging until you are ready to install it.
