Instruction Manual 1 Introduction Thank you f or purchasing a StarT ech.com VS420RD VIA D VI Video and Audio Matrix Splitter/Switcher - 2 in x 4 out. With the Conv erge A/V D VI Matrix splitter/switcher , you can select between two D VI-I sources on multiple monitors (up to f our).

Instruction Manual 3 Step 2 Connect the speaker port of the computer to the Audio port of Source 1 as shown. Step 3 Repeat Step 1 and 2 on Source 2, as shown.
Instruction Manual 4 Step 2 Connect a pair of speakers to port 1 of the Video Matrix Switch, as shown. Step 3 Repeat Step 1 and 2 on the audio and video output channels for port 2, if necessary . Step 4 Apply power to the Video Matrix Switch as shown.
Instruction Manual 5 Basic Operations Front Panel Opera tion Once the unit has been powered on, all 4 red LEDs should be illuminated. Due to the factory default settings , if all 4 red LEDs are blinking, source 1 is empty . When all 4 LEDs are always ON then a video signal has been detected at source 1.
Instruction Manual 6 Step 3 Press 1 or 2 within 3 seconds to select Source 1 or Source 2. After select- ing, LED 4 will become either red or orange. Red means Source 1 is selected. • Orange means Source 2 is selected. • Step 4 Repeat Step 1 through 3 to route other por ts .
