Instruction Manual 2 Inst allation W arning: Prior to installation, please ensure that all computers and KVM s witch(es) are pow ered down. Console Connection The SV831DUSBA U is designed f or use with USB console connections only . A USB compatible ke yboard and mouse and V GA monitor must be used for the local console .
Instruction Manual 3 Connecting Computers to the KVM Switch T o connect a computer to the KVM switch, use the appropriate StarT ech. com KVM cable to connect from one of the PC ports located on the rear panel of the KVM switch to the k eyboard/mouse and VGA video ports on the computer .
