When plugging in the Button into the Base Unit, the Button is paired t o the Base Unit.

6. Conne cting 6.2 Audio connection About audio The ClickShare Button captures the audio output of the user’s laptop and sends it to the Base Unit together with t he video signal. The Base Unit will then mix t he audio signals from all Buttons that are sharing their content .

Connecti ng 6.7 Advanced Use Advanced functionality ClickShare can show the content of up to four wireles s sources or three wireless sources and one ClickShare Link (f or an iPad) on the meeting room display(s) at the same time. A wireless source is a ClickS hare Button, or either an iPad or android device sharing via the ClickShare app.

Exit to close ClickShare. The ClickShare icon disappe ars from the system tray and the LEDs of the Button start blinki ng w hite.
6. Connecti ng About shared desktop Depending on your selection, your primary screen or your extended screen will be captured and displayed via ClickShare. That extended screen can be a physical screen or a virt ual screen. With extended desktop you can take advantage of both your laptop s creen and the central meeting room display .

7. Preparing the but tons Both the LEDs of the Button and the LEDs of the Base Unit are blinking white. This means pairing is in progress. The Base Unit automaticall y checks whether the s oftwar e of the Button i s up to date. I f not, the Base Unit updat es the Button software.

ClickShare button manager By clicking o n Download (3), an XM L fi le is downloaded on the PC. This fi le contains all information about the base unit to pair buttons on your PC instead of on the base unit itself.

An overview of the con fi gured links is given with the following extra info of t he Link: - The green LED indicates that the Link is connected. - Source name: can b e changed to any name, just by clicking inside the input fi eld and entering a new name.

9. Software u pdati ng As an emergency recovery procedure you can use the software update stick. However , in that case the software will be fully erased and the Base Unit will be ref ormatted. T o update the Base Unit software via the web interface 1.
9. Softwa re updating 5. Browse to the new software version and click Open to start the upload. Note: This should be an ipk fi le. Y ou might have to unzip the fi le downloaded f rom Barco’s website. Note: Updating the s o ftware to t he Base Unit and installing it can take several minutes.
9. Software u pdati ng Image 9-7 Press the Standby button at the front if the unit does not start up automatically . 5. On the keyboard , press F12 . Press F12 immediately after starting up the Base U nit and keep it pressed until a message appe ars on screen asking to enter a password.
