CD12 User Manual ◄ 1 1 DRILLING WITH CD12 ANCHOR ST AND The anchor stand may be used with a vacuum pump for a vacuum hold down or with a concrete anchor screw to hold the stand in place while drilling. The standard ar- rangement of the anchor stand is for use with a vacuum pump.
12 ► CD12 User Manual 12. NO TICE Manually screw the corresponding drill bit from below onto the drill bit adapter . Manual tightening is sufcient because the drill bit will automatically tighten further during the drilling operation. Connect the core drill to a water supply .
CD12 User Manual ◄ 13 ANCHOR ST AND TROUBLESHOOTING Symptom Cause Solution The Anchor Stand will not hold a vacuum. Debris under the base gasket is preventing a good seal. Clean the surface on which the gasket must seal. Debris between the base gasket and the base.
14 ► CD12 User Manual • Make sure all couplers are wiped clean before con- nection. • The hydraulic circuit control valve must be in the OFF position when coupling or uncoupling hydrau- lic tools. Failure to do so may result in damage to the quick couplers and cause overheating of the hy- draulic system.
CD12 User Manual ◄ 15 When diagnosing faults in operation of the grinder , always check that the hydraulic power source is supplying the correct hydraulic ow and pressure to the grinder as listed in the table. Use a owmeter known to be accurate.
