ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 7 STEP 1 Atta ch the FRONT ST ABILIZER(2) to the front of the MAIN FRAME(1) with CARRIAGE BOL TS (M8x1.25x65mm)(40), ARC W ASHERS(M8)(55), LOCK W ASHERS(M8)(56), and ACOR N NUTS(M8x1.25) (52). STEP 2 Atta ch the REAR ST ABILIZER(3) to the MAIN FRAME(1) with CARRIAGE BOL TS(M8x1.

ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS STEP 5 T urn the TENSION KNOB(23) on the UPRIGHT(4) counterclockwise a s far a s it can go, so the ca ble end extends out of the metal fitting a s far a s possible. Pull the ends of the TENSION CABLE(22) a nd SENSOR WIRE(26) out of the MAIN FRAME(1).
STEP 7 Run the CONNECTION WIRE(25) through the hole in the plate on the HANDLEBAR(5). Atta ch the HANDLEBAR(5) to the UPRIGHT(4) with BUTTON HEAD BOL T(M8x1.25x30mm)(42) an d ROUND HEAD SCREWS(M6x1x8mm)(49). STEP 8 Install two AA batteries into the METER(24), two batteries included.
SET UP INSTRUCTIONS 11 Pla ce the Magnetic Upright 1300 Bike in the area where it will be used. It is re commended that the M agnetic Upright 1300 Bike be pla ced on an equi pment mat. The M agnetic Upright 1300 Bike is a pproximately 35 inches long x 22 5/8 inche s wide x 48 1/2 inches tall.
OPERA TIONAL INSTRUCTIONS 12 The ADJUSTMENT K NOB(35) should be screwed in tight to ma ke the SEA T POST(6) fit securely in the MAIN FRAME(1). NOTE: SEA T HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT Proper seat height is i mportant f or efficient exercise. T o determine proper se at height, sit on the BIKE and center the ball of your foot on the pedal in the down position.
USING THE METER Open the Battery Door on the ba ck of the meter . The meter operates with two AA batteries, two batteries included. Refer to the illustration to install or repla ce the batteries. 1. 2. Do not mix a new battery with a n old battery . Use the sa me type of battery .

15 CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise progra m depends on your physical condition. If you have been ina ctive for several years or are severely overwe ight, start slowly a nd increa se your workout time gra dually . Increa se your workout intensity gra dually by monitoring your heart rate while you exercise.
16 W ARM-UP a nd COOL-DOW N W arm-Up The purpose of warming up is to prepare your body f or exercise a nd to minimize in juries. W arm up for two to f ive minutes bef ore strength training or aerobic exercising. Perform a ctivities that raise your heart rate a nd warm the working muscles.
