The menus of your music sy stem gives you several options. Choose ex tra functions and featur es via the menus or mak e your own setup preferenc es. The current set tings f or the func tion s are shown in the menu, f or example ‘R ANDO M – ON or OFF’ .

Use the naming func tion , for example, to name y our Timers for easy recognition, or your CDs. The naming procedure is the same no matter w h at you are naming. Each name may con tain up to 1 7 characters, including numb ers, however , Timer names can only contain up to 1 2 charac ters.

T une in and ed it ra dio stati ons Let the music s ystem find avail able radio stations for you. Y o u can store up to 99 radio stations. Once a station is s t ored, you access it direc tly by k ey i ng in the program number or by stepping through all the stored stations.
DAB A ERIA L ADJUS TME NT … This m enu contai ns an indi cator bar, which show s the st rength of DAB signa l receptio n and the risk of si gnal drop - out. Watch t he indicato r bar while yo u adjust your a erial. Wh en the signa l is strong e nough, soun d is transmit ted.
Audi o CD settings If you name a C D , the name appear s in the display whenever you play this CD. Also additional CD functions are available via the main menu , if you have added them in the MENU OP TIO NS menu , refer to page 1 8 for further informa tion.
Mak e sound set tings All sound levels are set to neutral values from the factor y , but you can make your own sound adjustment s and store them. If speakers are connec ted directl y t o your music sy stem, you can adjust the volume, bass and treble levels, or alter the balance between the lef t and right speaker .
Mak e option settings Y ou can change the basic set tings of your music sy stem to your liking. The OP TI ONS menu allows you to set the clock, sw it ch the Timer func tion on or off and cho ose language .
Mak e you r mus ic system start and stop autom atical ly Y ou can make the music sys t em st art or stop playing at designated times through out the day and week.
How to use the p inc ode system The use of a pincode means that if your music sy stem has been disconnected from the mai ns for more than appro ximately 30 minutes, it can only be ac tivated again by sw it ching it on and k eying in your pincode via the close -up operation panel.

Con nect the cables The so ck et panel is placed at the base of your music sys tem. Use the diagram and graphics imprinted on the socket panel unit when locating the sockets. Do not connect your s ystem to the mains until you have finished connecting all other c ables.

Y ou can use your music s ystem as a stand -alone sy stem or as a A udio / Vide o system, if you connec t the sy stems with a Master Link cable. If you connec t your music sys tem and your vide o system, you must make sure that they ar e set up to func tion together .
