3 Important safeguards - Read care ful l y through thi s manual to famil i arize your self with thi s hi gh-quali ty sound system. - Di sco nnect the vehicle's negative batter y terminal whil e mounting and connecting the uni t. - When repl aci ng th e f use, be su re to use one wi th an i dent i cal amperage rati ng.
4 Installation/ Connect ions Fi rst complete the el ectri cal connecti ons, and then check them for correc tness. Installation way It i s an anti-theft i nstall ation way.
5 Di n rear-mount (method 2) Install ation usin g the screw holes at both sides of the uni t. 1. Sel ect a posi ti on where the screw hol es of the mai n uni t are f i tted for al i gned, and tighten the scr ews at 2 positi ons at each si des.
6 Connection scheme Notes: - In spite of havi ng any ki nds of speaker system, must use 4 ohms i mpedance of speaker to reduce the distort i on dur i ng hi gh volume level. - Prohibit to make the conductor s of auto antenn a and ground touch wi th each other.

10 Functions of controls General opera tions Power button Press any button to switch the uni t on. The displ ay wi l l show a message WELCO ME . Press and hol d th e POWER button to swi tch the uni t off. The displ ay wi l l show a message GOO D-BYE .
11 Mute function Press the MUTE button to cancel the sound. Pr ess i t again or VOL +/ - to resume. Subwoofer control Press and hold the BAND/ SUB button to turn the Subwoofer output ON. An external ampli fi er i s requi red to operate a subwoofer. Beep Sound O ff function Press the VOLUME k nob / SEL un ti l Beep On i s di spl ayed.
12 Radio oper ations BAND selection Press the BAND / SUB button repeatedl y to sel ect y our desi red radio band duri ng RAD IO mode: FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, AM2. Each band can store 6 preset stati ons, for a total of 30 preset memory stati ons. Tuning In Radi o mode turn the TUNE button to manual l y adjust the radio frequency.
13 RDS function Duri ng l i steni ng to radi o or CD i f t here are any travel announcem ents f rom a nearl y l ocal stati on the radi o wil l always know the freq uency of that rad i o station. Then i t wil l r eceive the station, turn up the volume or interrupt the playback of the music for the duration of the announcement.
14 Function Mask DP I- Mask all · Press the sound sel ect but ton f or 2 seconds. · Press the SEL butt on to cycl e through to Mask DPI . · Rotate the encoder volume to toggle between MASK DPI and MASK ALL mode. · Leave the uni t i dle for the mode to take effect.

16 Multi-session CD reading The mul ti -session reading wil l be activated automatically i f the player detec ts a fi l e that i s written i n mul ti- session format. Inserting the U SB/ SD device Remove th e cover from t he U SB port, then i nsert t he U SB devi ce i nto the U SB sl ot on th e front panel .
17 Random playback Duri ng di sc pl ayback, press the No 4 / RDM button to start random pl ayback of th e tracks. The displ ay wi l l show RDM / RDM ON (i n USB/ SD mode). Press again to cancel . Intro playback You can play the beginni ng of every track for 10 seconds in sequence.
18 After playing all the fi l es sequentiall y i n the fi rst folder, the unit wil l play sequentially all o f the fil es i n the next folder. The uni t wil l continue playi ng through all of the folders on the USB dr i ve i n thi s manner.
19 MP3 overview Notes on MP3 - MP3 i s short for MPEG Audio Layer 3 and refers to an audi o compression techn ology standard. - Thi s product all ows pl ayback of MP3 fi l es on CD -ROM, CD-R or CD-RW di scs. - The uni t can read MP3 fi l es wri tte n i n the f ormat compli ant wi th ISO 9660.
20 Anti-theft system Thi s uni t i s equi pped wi th a sl i de-down detachable an d mask panel . Panel can be detached and taken wi th you, hel ping to deter theft. Detaching the front panel 1. Press the PWR button to t urn th e power off. 2. Press the OPEN button on th e front panel .
21 Handling compact discs Di rty, scratched or warped discs may cause ski p pi ng or noise. Handle the disc only by the edges. To keep cl ean do not touch its surface. Di scs shoul d be stored in thei r cases after use to avoi d scratches. Do not expose discs to direct sunl i ght, h i gh humi dity , hi gh temperature or dust.
