V AIO® Computer User Guide 12 Using the K eyboar d Y our keyboard is very similar to a typewriter ’ s, but your computer keyboard has additional keys that perform sp ecific computer-related tasks.
Using the K eyboard 13 Functions of the ke yboar d keys Key Description Numeric keypad area Contains the keys fo und on a typical cal cu lator . Use the numeric keypad area to type numbers or to perform mathematical calculations such as addition and subtraction.
V AIO® Computer User Guide 14 Combinations and functions with the Windo ws ke y Operator keys (Shift, Ctrl, Alt keys) Several keys are always used with at least one other key: Ctrl, Alt, and Shift. When held down with another key , the Ctrl (Control) and Alt (Alternate) key s offer another way to give commands.

Using the MO TION EYE Camera 19 Using the MO TION EYE Camera Y our computer includes a built-in MO TION EYE™ camera. Y ou can use the camera to shoot still images and record video clips. T o capture a still image 1 Press the CAP TURE but ton to start th e Smart Capture Premium application.

Using the MO TION EYE Camera 21 If you turn the lens toward you, Sm ar t Capture Premium goes into mirror mode. Y ou can use th e mirror mode to take a still image of y ourself. A mirror-image appears in the finder window of the display while shoot ing; after capturing, however , a normal image appears.

Using the P ointing Devi ce Action Descriptio n Point Press the pointing device in a direction to place the pointer on an item or object.
