Insert two R6 (size AA) batteri es by matchi ng the 3 and # ends on the ba tteries t o the markings insid e the battery compartment. When using the remote, p oint i t at the remote se nsor on the re cord er.

There are two met hods to set the timer: the standa rd metho d and Sh owView (RDR -HX710 / HX910 only) method.
