6 Getting Started Resetting the unit Before o perating th e unit fo r the f irst time, or after r eplaci ng the car batter y or chan ging the connection s, you must reset the unit. Detach the front pane l and press th e RESET butt on with a pointed object, su ch as a ball-point pen.
