Conne cting Your TV 6 5 A UDIO L(MONO), R/ VIDEO This input connects to the AUDIO/VIDEO output jacks on your VCR or other video equip m ent. A t hird vi deo input j ack (VIDEO 2 ) is located on the front panel of the TV . These AUDIO/VIDEO input jacks provide better pictur e quali ty than t he VHF/UHF jack.

Conne cting Your TV 8 Cable Box Connections Some cable TV systems use scrambled o r encoded signals that requ ire a cable box to view all channels. If you s ubscribe to that ki nd of cable service, use th is connection. Scrambled s ignals coming in to the TV through th e cable box canno t be viewed in PIP .

Conne cting Your TV 10 Connecting Ad ditional Equipment Connecting a TV and VCR 1 Connect the coaxial cable f rom your TV antenna or cable serv ice to the IN jack on y our VCR. 2 Connect a coaxial cable (not supplied ) from the OUT jack o n your VCR to the VHF/UHF jack on the TV .

17 Using Basic Functions Setting Up the TV Automatically After you have finished conn ecting your TV , you can perform Auto Program t o se t up your chan nels. When Auto Programmin g, the TV will automatically search for available channels and program receivable channels .
