4 LEVEL ADJUSTMENT Generally in a home theat er application, volume level is cont rolled by the A/V surround processor. In a system for use with the Referen ce 200.3, 200.2 or 2 00.1, adjustment of the volume level must b e performed us ing the external preamplifier/processor.

6 OUTPUTS Five way binding posts are provided. T here is one pair pr ovided for each ch annel. They are de signed to accept a banana-type plug, spa de-lug conne ctor (shown below), termin al posts, and bare wire, and they are color coded for easy identification.
7 SYSTEM INSTALLATION There will most likely be a num ber of cables involved in the installation of your home entertainment system. Preplanning is essential in order to ma ximize system efficiency. We recommend the follo wing as a means of helping you reach that goal.
8 CONTROL INPUT AND OUTPUT A control (trigger) system is provid ed on the Reference 200.3, 200.2 and 200.1 amplifiers to allow remote switching of the amplifier’s standby on/off feature. The cont rol input is designed to operate with a source (trigger) of 5-24 volts AC or DC.
