2 PUR POSE AND FUNCTION The AV1260 is an integrati on of a stereo audio distri bution BUS with t welve com pact and efficient 60 W power amplifiers. Each p air of amplifiers have DI P s witches that allo w system configuration for us e with e ither mono/stereo and m uting control via a Mast er or Local control input.

4 6. Master cont rol input/ou tput (A or B) - The A V1260 is d esigned to pro vide ind ependent contro l for t wo groups of amplifier chan nels, Grou p A has contro l over am plifier channels 1-6, while Gro up B has contr ol over am plifier channels 7 -12.
5 CHANNEL CONTROL & MUTING Each pair of ampl ifier channels has its own 1/8” mini control input / output (pass through) jack to provide rem ote switching of the am plifier audio m ute on/off f eature. The control input circ uit is designed to work as T ip Pos.
6 INPUT CONNECTIONS Each pair of am plifier channels have t heir own ‘Loca l’ input and output RC A connector s. The inputs are des igned to accept line lev el audio fr om a pr eamplifiers unbalan ced output co nnectors. Output expansion is acc omm odated with the supp lied output co nnectors.
7 LEVEL CONTROL DEFEAT The following procedures s hould onl y be perform ed b y a qualified tec hnician. Each pa ir of am plifier chann els have their own ‘Local’ level control that m ay be bypassed to allow para lleling output c hannels. The j umper modules are located inside th e unit, on t he circuit bo ard, just beh ind the le vel controls.
8 HIGH CURRENT (MONO) USAGE The AV1260 h as up to twelve output c hannels tha t m ay be para lleled (m ono). This feature a llows the amplifier to increase its output power into lower impedanc e speakers . Set all ‘AMP ON’, ‘L + R’ and ‘BUS’ DIP switches to the ‘ON’ position for the desire d channels.
