13 US Getting Started Attaching the foot pads to the subwoofer Attach th e foot pa ds (supplie d) to th e bottom of the subwoo fer to s tabilize the subwoofer and preven t it from s lippi ng.
14 US Getting Started Befo re con nectin g the spe aker s, attach the sp eaker st and to th e speake r. (For t he fron t spea kers) Use the p arts as follows : • F ront sp eaker s (2) • S peaker c.
15 US Getting Started 1 Insert the post into the hole on th e bottom of the speaker so that th e screw on the post faces the front o f the speaker. 2 Adjust the heigh t of the speaker, th en secure the post with two screws (with washer). You ca n cha nge the height of the speake r dep ending on th e scre w posi tions .
16 US Getting Started 3 Thread the sp eaker cord through the hole in the base and post. The connector a nd color tube o f the speaker c ords are the s ame color as the l abel of the ja cks to be conn ected.
17 US Getting Started 4 Connect the sp eaker cords to th e speaker. Be sure to mat ch the speaker c ords to the approp riate termin als on the speakers : the speaker cord with th e color tube to 3 , and the sp eaker cord w itho ut the colo r tube to # .
18 US Getting Started 6 Take up any speaker cord slack. Take up slack in t he speake r cor d by pull ing from t he bott om of the ba se. Fully-assembled illustration Adjust the length of the cord . Secur e the spea ker cord by runnin g it throug h the slo t.
19 US Getting Started Caution • C ontact a screw shop or installer for information regarding th e wall material or scr ews to be used. • Use screws that are suitable for the wa ll materi al and s trength. As a plas ter boar d wall is especia lly fr agile, at tach the screws secu rely to a beam.

21 US Getting Started Step 2: Conn ecting th e System For conn ecting the system, r ead the inf ormation on the follo wing pages. Do not con nect the AC power cord (mains lead) of th e unit to a wall outlet (mains) unti l all th e other connect ions ar e made.

26 US Getting Started To assemble the AM loop antenna (aerial) To connect the antenna (aerial) Note • Keep the AM loop antenna (ae rial) and cord away fr om the system or othe r AV components, as noise may result. • Be sure to fully e xtend th e FM wire antenna ( aerial) .
27 US Getting Started You can transmit s ound fro m the unit to an S-AIR pr oduct, suc h as a surr ound amplifier or S-AIR rece iver. To transmi t sound f rom the unit, you need to insert the wireless transceiv ers into th e unit, su rround amplif ier, an d S-AIR receive r.

44 US Searchin g/Selecting Disc Contents A DVD is divided into many se ctions, which make up a pictu re or musi c featu re. These sections are called “titles.” When you play a DVD whi ch c onta ins s ever al ti tle s, yo u can select th e title you want using DVD TOP MENU.
