2 Pr ogramming and User Codes All locks are pre-prog rammed with a programming code and tw o user codes. The programming code and user codes can be changed at an y time. All pre-programmed codes can be f ound on the yellow stic ker on the front of the Installation Instructions that come with the lock.
3 Replacing the Batteries BE369 Deadbolt a. Remov e cov er screws . b . Remov e screw on upper left to release upper battery tra y . Hold batter y tra y in place while loosening screw . c. Upper batter y tray will be released. Fully remove tr ay and remov e three old AA batteries.
4 Restoring F actory Settings Restoring the factory settings will: • Restore the original programming code • Restore the pre-programmed user codes If you ha ve an activ e account at www .schlagelink.com, the user codes listed in the web interf ace f or the lock will be restored in the ph ysical lock when loc k reconnects with the bridge.
5 Manual Pr ogramming Functions Press the ke ys on the ke ypad as shown in the f ollowing steps. W ait for the confirmation indicator bef ore proceeding to the next step . If you mak e a mistake , wait f or all lights and beeps to stop and then star t ov er from the beginning.
