2 PREP ARING THE INS T ALLATION LOCA TION All Sonance speak ers are designed to be relati vely insensiti ve to variations in enclosure volume. T o achiev e the ultimate performance from y our speakers, a section of the ceiling bay can be sectioned-off to form a back box.
P AINTING THE SPEAKERS AND GRILLES Y ou can paint the speakers and grilles before installing them, which will eliminate the “ paint scar” if the speaker ever needs t o be removed for serv ice. Y ou can also paint the speakers after installation, but before the grilles are attached.
