3 TECHNICA L SPECIFICA TIONS WARNING : This fan is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). The plug is in- tended to fit into a power outlet only one way, with the wide blade in the wide slot. This is a safety feature; if you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug .
4 A S SEMBL Y 1. First, put the pillar together (c). The pillar is made of two separate halves. Make sure to pass the power cord (b) through the middle of the pillar before snapping the pillar pieces together and securing them with the included screws.
5 OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS Set the fan on a stab le, level surface. Plug th e cor d into a standard 120V A/C outlet. The num bers in (parenthe ses) refer to Fig. 2 on the next page. POWERING ON T HE F AN (1) The fan can be turne d on by pressing the POW ER button on the fan control pa nel or using the supplied rem ote control.

7 CLEANING & M A INTENANCE 1. Turn the fan off and unplug the unit. 2. Wipe the fan down with a damp cloth for most efficient operation. 3. Air dry the fan completely before use. 4. Never use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents. This may cause damage or deterioration to the surface of the unit.
