6 Section 2 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS 2.1 PRE-STA RT CHECK LIST Make the following chec ks and perf orm the ser v ic e required bef ore each start-up. 2.1.1. Check tires and add or releas e air as needed to bring pressure to 12 psi in front and 12 psi in rear tires.
7 Section 2 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANT: This YA RD CRUISER is equipped w ith hy drostatic drive. The forw ard, rear w ard and steer ing movement of the machine is controlled by a joy stick lever. Joy stick operations should be performed only from the operator’s position in the seat.
8 Section 2 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS 2.2.2. ENGINE (M A NUAL START) IMPO RTA NT : W hen the ignition k ey is turned to “RUN”, the engine will not star t unless the Park ing Brak e is engaged and the Blade Sw itch is in the “Off” position. T he operator should be in the seat.

IM PORTANT: W hen pos itioning the cutting deck into a higher c utting position, pull up on the deck lift handle only , it is not necessary to pull up on the release lever at the s ame tim e.
