2 Installation Considerations For best results, Hansgrohe recommends that this unit be installed by a licensed, profes- sional plumber . Please read over these instruc- tions thoroughly before begin- ning installation. Make sure that you have all tools and supplies needed to complete the instal- lation.
3 Installation Place the faucet and sealing ring on the mounting surface. Install the friction washer , metal washer , and mounting nut. T ighten the mounting nut by hand. Check the position of the faucet. When satisfied, use a slot-headed screwdriver to tighten the tensioning screws.
4 Set the high temperature limit stop (optional) Remove the screw cover , located on the back of the handle. Use a 4 mm allen wrench to loosen the screw .
5 Install the pop-up drain Attach the swivel connector to the end of the horizontal rod. Attach the swivel connector to the end of the pull rod. Position as desired and tighten with a small, flat bladed screwdriver . Remove the plunger assembly . Unscrew the drain outlet flange from the tee.
