6 Section 2 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS 2.1 PRE-ST A RT CHECK LIST Make the following c hecks and per form the service required bef ore each start-up. 2.1.1. Check guards, def lectors, grass bag, adapter and covers to mak e sure all are in plac e and securely tightened.

Move ground speed contr ol to the desired speed position. See Figure 2.4. 3. Move wheel drive control agains t handle to engage wheel drive and propel m ower forward.
