3 Installation 16510XX1 only: Place the pull rod assem- bly in the center hole of the mounting surface. Thread the friction washer , metal washer and mounting nut to the shank. T ighten the mounting nut by hand. Tighten the tensioning screws. 16803XX1 & 16510XX1: Place the fau- cet assembly in the two valve holes.
4 Thread the friction washers, metal washers and mounting nuts to the valve shanks. T ighten the mounting nuts by hand. Tighten the tensioning screws. Install the spout, slide bushing and o-ring. Make sure that the slide bushing is oriented correctly .
5 Install the pop-up drain (16510XX1 only) Remove the plunger assembly . Unscrew the drain outlet flange from the tee. Unscrew the tailpiece from the tee. W rap the threads with T eflon TM thread tape and replace. Install the white, flexible sealing gasket to the flange.
