6 LEVELLING THE W ASHING MA CHINE After having selected the most suitable location for the appliance, make sure it is le vel b y regulating the adjustable f eet (Fig. 6). P ay particular attention to the positioning and le velling of the washing machine and make sure that the loc k nuts are tight.
7 INST ALLING THE W ASHING MA CHINE CONNECTING THE W A TER SUPPL Y The mains water pressure m ust be between 0.05 and 1.00 Mpa (0.5 - 10 bar .) Bef ore connecting the washing machine, open the valv e and allow a cer tain quantity of water to fl ow out in order to clean the pipes of an y sand or r ust.

9 USING THE W ASHING MA CHINE USE OF DETERGENTS The washing machine is fi tted with a three-compar tment detergent draw er compar tment for pre-w ash or soak soap powder (1) compar tment f or nor mal wash soap powder (2) softener compar tment (3) Use a low-suds detergent and softener (if required) recommended for automatic washing machines .
10 USING THE W ASHING MA CHINE Stains e xist that cannot be remov ed by machine washing alone. Before tr ying to remov e any type of stain by hand, fi rst tr y the remov al procedure on a small area of hidden fabric. Star t from the edge of the stain and working inwards, this will prev ent a dar k r ing from forming around the site of the stain.
