Introduction 1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE AND PR OPER USE THIS MANUAL IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE APP LIANCE AND THEREFORE MUST BE KEPT IN ITS ENTIRETY AND IN A N ACCESSIBLE PLACE FOR THE WHOLE WORKING LIFE OF THE STERILIZER . WE ADVISE READING THIS MANUAL AND ALL THE INSTR UCTIONS THEREIN BEFORE USING THE STERILIZER.
Introduction ALWAYS CHECK THAT THE CONTROL KNOBS ARE IN THE 0 (OFF ) POSITION WHEN YOU FINISH USING THE STERILIZER. NEVER PUT INFLAMMABLE OBJECTS IN THE STERILIZER: THEY C OULD BE ACCIDENTALLY LIGHTED AND CAUSE FIRES.
Instructions for the installer 2. INST ALLA TION OF THE STERILIZER The sterilizer must be set up on a perfectly flat surface and left standing free. Make sure to allow eno ugh room at the back for easy access to the terminal strip for connection of the power cable to ma ins.
Instructions for the installer 2.1.1 Safety thermostat The sterilizer is fitted with a safety device which trips in case of serious malfunction. To reset, contact the nearest servicing centre.
Instructions for the user 3. DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS THERMOSTAT KNOB This permits selection of the ideal cooking temperature. T urn the knob clockwise to the desired temperature. Adjustment is progressive so that the ster iliz er also operates at any intermediate value.
Instructions for the user ORANGE LIGHT When on, indicates that steriliz er is heatin g up. When the set temperature is re ached, the light g oes off. During the cooking cycle, the light comes on and goes off various times signalling that the temperature in the sterilizer is being kept constant as per the set value.
Instructions for the user 4. USE OF THE STERILIZER 4.1 Warnings and general advice When using for the first time, it is advis able to heat up the sterilizer to its maximum temper ature for enough time to burn off any possible oily manufacturing residues.
Instructions for the user 5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Important: never spray water directly on to the sterilizer. Nev er use pressure nozzles. Before any intervention, disc onnect the power supply of the sterilizer.
Instructions for the user 5.2 Cleaning the inside of the sterilizer To maintain the sterilizer in perfect condition , clean it regularly at the end of the work day. Allow to cool first. Take off all removable par ts. Remove the side guides by unscrewi ng the ring nut A and slid ing them out of the rear hole B .
