I nspection, cleaning, repair— Chimney , flue pipe and boiler Y our boiler and heating system will last an indefinitely long time at full efficiency , if it is inspected regular ly and is kept in good repair and adjustment. Y ou, the user , should make regular inspections , and repor t any prob- lems to your service agency .

Ask your installer or ser viceperson to show y ou the v ent damper posi- tion indicator , indicating the open and closed damper positions.
