- 2 - Contact Grill Intended use This Contact Grill is intended for • grilling food such as meat, fish, vegetables, sand- wiches, etc. • in household quantities • in private households Contents .
- 3 - • Do not operate the appliance near inflammable objects, for ex ample, close to cur tains or near tis- sue paper roles in the kitchen. Even during general use, some of the compo- nents of the appliance become ver y hot (e.g. the top and bottom housing plates).
- 4 - When using the Contact Grill for the first time, you may notice fumes caused by heating. These fumes are not injurious to health; how ever , initial- ly they may affect the taste of your first few dis- hes.
- 5 - This position is suitable for simultaneous and fast roasting of foodstuff s on both sides. It is ideal for grilling meat that needs to be seared fast at high temperature, e.g. rump steak, filet cuts, c hops, sausages and vegetables. 1. Open the lid of the Contact Grill up to t he stopper without lif ting it up.
- 6 - Af ter roasting • Set the temperature contr ol knob r to "•" position. • Pull the pow er plug out of the socket. • R emove the grilled food items from the hot plates i using a wooden spatula or an y other suitable, non-metallic utensil.
- 7 - Rump Steak with Spring Onion and Herb Sauce (4 persons) 500 g lean rump steak (125 g each) 120 g margarine 1 tsp. W orcestershir e sauce 1 finely chopped garlic clove 4 tbsp. finely chopped parsley 4 finely chopped spring onions 1. Mix the margarine and the W orcestershire sauce in a small bowl.
