- 2 - MUL TI-B AND RADIO KH 2029 Intended use This device is designed to receiv e generally appro ved radio transmissions in all countries (world r eceiver) and only for domestic use. It has not been designed to receive tr ansmissions that are not generally appro ved, nor as part of safety radio systems, e.
- 3 - Safety inf ormation • This device has not been designed for use by people (including childr en) wit h restricted physical, sensory or intellectual abilities or lack of experience and/or kno wledge, unless t hey are supervised by a responsible person (for their own safety) or have r eceived instructions on how to use the device.
- 4 - Thunder storms! Devices connected to mains po wer can be damaged during a thunder storm. If t here is a thunder storm, always r emove the mains plug from the sock et.
- 5 - St ar ting up Unpack the device Remo ve all packaging materials. Caution! Do not let children play with the plastic film. There is a risk of suffocation.
- 6 - General functions K ey lock In order to pre vent changing the settings unintention- ally by touching the buttons, you can activ ate the ke y lock. • Press and hold do wn t he MEM button for around 3 seconds. The screen will flash . All but- tons ex cept the SNOOZE button are now lock ed.
- 7 - Setting the dat e • Press MODE again or twice. The date set flashes on the screen ( T u 01:01 08 when first switched on). • Press the UP or DOWN button to mov e the date for war d or backward. K eep either of t hese buttons pressed for a few seconds to change the date in ten-day steps.
- 8 - Summer time of fset • While the time zone indication is still flashing, press the SNOOZE button. The screen sho ws the SUN OFF message when summer time has been deactivated. • Press the SNOOZE button again. The screen no w shows SUN ON . Summer time offset is now activated and the clock mov es one hour ahead.
- 9 - When the radio is switched off, select t he display mode by r epeatedly pressing the FINE button in accordance with the following table: Symbol on the screen display mode: CLK only the time is displayed. CIT Y the time and world time are shown in succession.
- 10 - Interr upting the alar m • Press the SNOOZE button to interrupt the alarm for 10 minutes. Set snooze time • Press the MODE button sev en times; th e scr een displays the snooze time set (default is SNO10 ). • Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the snooze time to a time between 1 and 59 minutes.
- 11 - When the set time has been counted down, an alarm sound plays for one minute becoming gradually higher in tone and louder . • Press the MEMORY SCAN button to pause t he countdown and leav e countdown mode. Radio oper ation Switching on/volume control • Press the POWER ON button to switch the radio on.
- 12 - Setting the MW band Since the radio transmitter systems differ from one countr y to another , you should mak e the appro- priate setting via the reception range setting: • Press the MODE butt.
- 13 - Selecting a saved station • In order to select a saved station dir ectly , first use the frequency selection switch to select the frequency range wher e the station is saved. • Press the PAG E button and then use the UP or DOWN buttons to select a memor y page (from 00 – 39).

- 22 - Generelle funktioner T astaturlås For at forhindre at indstillingerne ændres v ed utilsigtet berøring af knapperne, k an du aktivere en tastaturlås. • T r yk og hold knappen MEM i ca. 3 sekunder . Nu blinker der i displayet. Alle knapper , bor tset fra knappen SNOOZE er nu låst.
- 23 - Indstilling af dato • T r yk én gang til eller to gange på MODE . Den indstillede dato blinker i display et (ved ibrugtagning T u 01:01 08 ). • T r yk på knappen UP eller DOWN for at stille datoen frem eller tilbage. Hvis du holder en af knapperne nede i et par sekunder , indstilles datoen frem eller tilbage i intervaller på 10 dage.
- 24 - Sommer tidsforskydning • T r yk på knappen SNOOZE mens tidszonen stadig vises blinkende. Display et viser nu SUN OFF for den deaktiverede sommertidsforskydning. • T r yk på knappen SNOOZE igen. Displayet viser nu SUN ON . Sommer tidsforskydning er nu aktiveret og klokk eslættet er en time foran.
- 25 - V alg af displayfunktion Du kan v ælge, hvilke data, der vises i displayet, når radioen er slukk et. Funktionerne angives med modsvarende symboler i display et.
- 26 - Bemærk: V ær opmærksom på, at der skal vær e en station indstillet (se nedenfor) for at radioen kan v ække. Udsættelse af alarm • T r yk på knappen SNOOZE for at udsætte vækk efunktionen i 10 minutter.
