Switch on mains power at the socket 5. Fit the battery in the handset(s) Insert the battery cell following the Battery polarity indication 2.

You need to register with your fixed line network operator fo r the SMS service before using SD8421 for messaging.

If you reset the system, you will lose all stored inform ation (including numbers in memory) and all features will r etu rn to their default se ttings.
