Operating Instructions 3-7 5 18 MENU SHIFT : MOVE BUTTON SHIFT : ENTER (SELECT) BUTTON • TRIGGER – Selects how many frames per camera to be recorded when connected to a FRAME SWITCHER (Refer to the owner's manual for detailed information) • V -SYNC – The jitter of picture may happen when connecting a particular FRAME SWITCHER.
Operating Instructions 3-8 20 MENU – CHECKING POWER FAILURE TIME AND DA TE. • When 5 program is set in the PROGRAM SETUP 1, select PROGRAM SETUP 2. • Use the same method for setting PROGRAM REC as in the PROGRAM SETUP 1. * When finished with PROGRAM SETUP 1, 2 press MENU to end and press POWER to begin standby .
Operating Instructions 3-9 22 PLA YBACK Note the screen adjustment • When the tape is inserted, the screen is automatically adjusted. • If the screen is not automatically adjusted, adjust it by pressing the TRACKING buttons.
Operating Instructions 3-10 24 PLA YBACK 2 When viewing a slow picture Press the TIME MODE ( , ) button during play back. • Then you cannot hear the sound. • When the picture jitters up and down during slow playback, press the V -LOCK button. After proper adjustment, view the slow playback.
Operating Instructions 3-11 26 PLA YBACK 5 For L12H, L24H, 24H hours playback • Y ou can not hear sound from the 12H or 24H mode. If you want to hear the sound, press the AUDIO ON button to let the front display show L12H or L24H. • T ape is played back at a slower speed than the L2H playback.

Operating Instructions 3-14 32 ALARM RECORDING If the VCR is connected to equipment with an alarm output such as a frame switcher , motion detector or door switch, the VCR will function according to the time and mode selected on the ALARM REC menu when an alarm is received.
