Introduction MegaPower 168 is a matrix switcher/controller system with a broad range of functionality. Sy stem features for release 3.30 include: ● Video recorder control through keyboard ● Macro .

5. The number in the ENTER display indicat es the percentage of macros successfully tran sferred to the keyboard. The number starts at 0 and i ncreases in increments of 10, up to 100 percent . With the keyboard set to 9600 baud and connected directly to the CP U, the transfer will take up to three minut es.

Ports The Ports menu configures the baud rate, data bits, parity, stop bits, and port use for each of the MegaPower 168 system’s ei ght RS-232 ports. Note: Once selections for a port have been m ade, do not ch ange the settings unless t he corresponding RS-232 device is also changed.
Port Use defines the device type connected t o the port. • Al ar m is used for input of alarm signals to the MegaPower 168 CPU. • Keyboard enables keyboard control inputs to the port. For this use, set data bits to “8”, parit y to “none”, and stop bits to “1”.
Appendix A: Keyboard Features Comparison Several keyboards can be used with the Me gaPower 168 syst em for release 3.30. Depending on the keyboard(s) instal led with the system, different features ar e available to the user. The table below provides a comparison of the different keyboard features.
