8 Loading T op Ra ck The top rack is designed for cups, gl asses, a nd smalle r items. (See recommended loadin g pattern s shown.) NOTE : The features on your dis hwasher rack may vary from the drawings shown. ■ Place items so op en ends face down for clean ing and draining.
9 Loading Bottom Rack The bottom rack is designed for plates, pans, casseroles, and utensil s. (See recommended loading pat tern s shown.) NOTE : The features on your dis hwasher rack may vary from the drawings shown. ■ Do not load glas ses, cups, or plast ic items in th e bottom rack.
10 T o r e move a small basket 1. Hold the cen ter basket and one small basket. Slide the small basket forward to release t he tabs from the corr espondi ng slots . 2. Pull the basket s apart. NOTE S: ■ Do not load silver o r silv er -plate d silve rwar e with st ainless steel.
11 Rinse Aid Dispenser IMPORTANT: Y our dishwash er is designed to u se a liquid rinse aid. The use of rin se aids greatl y improves dryi ng by all owing water to drain from the dishes during th e final rinse. They also keep water from forming dr op lets that can dry as spots or streaks.
12 * If the incomin g water temperatu r e is less th an the recommended tempera ture, the cycle w ill automatic ally compensa te by add ing time and heat as needed. Canceling a Cycle 1. Press CANCEL/DRAIN. The Cancel/Drain light glows. 2. The dishwa sher starts a 2- minute drain (i f needed).
13 Option Select ions Y ou can customize you r cycles by pressi ng an option. If you change your min d, press the option again to turn the op tion off. Selec t a different option if de sired. Y ou can change an opt ion anytime before the se lected opt ion begins.
14 Overfill Pr o tection Float The overfill protection float (in the front right corner of the dishwasher tub) keep s the dishwasher from overfilling. It must be in place for the dishw asher to operate. Check under the floa t for objects that may keep the protector from moving up or down.
15 DISHWASHER CAR E Cleanin g Cleaning the exterior In most case s, regular use of a soft, damp cloth or sponge and a mild d eter gent is a ll that is ne cessary to ke ep the o utsid e of you r dishwash er looking nice and cl ean. If your dish washer has a stainles s steel exterior , a stainless s teel cleaner is r ecommended.
