5 All the saf ety and operating instructions should be read before the product is operated. Read all of the instr uctions given here and retain them for later use. Unplug this projector from A C pow er supply before cleaning. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
6 Saf ety Instr uctions 20˚ 20˚ Do not tilt the projector more than 20 degrees from side to side. Do not point the projector down to project an image. Do not put the projector on either side to project an image. Install the projector properly . Improper inst allation may reduce the lamp lif e and cause fire hazard.
7 AC P ow er Cord for the Unit ed Kingdom: This cord is already fit ted with a moulded plug incorporating a fuse, the value of whic h is indicated on the pin face of the plug. Should the fuse need to be replaced, an A ST A approved BS 1 362 fuse must be used of the same rating , marked thus A S A .

12 T o ensure safe operation, please obser ve the f ollowing precautions: ● Use two (2) AA or LR6 type alkaline bat teries. ● Alwa ys replace bat teries in sets. ● Do not use a new bat ter y with a used bat ter y . ● A void contact with water or liquid.
13 Projection angle can be adjusted up to 6.5 degrees with the adjustable feet. Rotate the adjustable feet and tilt the projector to the proper height; to raise the f eet, rotate the both feet cloc kwise. 1 Adjustable F eet T o lower or to retract the adjustable f eet, rotate the both feet countercloc kwise.
14 The projection lens can be mo ved up and do wn or lef t and right manually with the Lens Shif t Rings, enabling you to adjust the position of a projected image.

17 This projector uses nominal input v oltages of 1 0 0 – 1 20 V or 200 – 240 V A C and it automatically selects a correct input v oltage. It is designed to work with the single-phase po wer sy stems having a grounded neutral conductor . T o reduce the risk of electrical shoc k, do not plug into any other type of pow er system.
18 Connect the projector’ s A C pow er cord into an A C outlet and turn the Main On/Of f switc h on. The PO WER indicator lights red. Press the PO WER ON/ST AND-B Y but ton on the top control or on the remote control. The PO WER indicator turns green and the cooling f ans st art to operate.

24 Input Source and System Selection Press the INPU T but ton on the top control or the INPU T buttons on the remote control (see below) to c hoose an input source. 25 Syst em Menu (Video/S-V ideo) If the projector cannot reproduce a proper video image, select a specific broadcast signal format from among P AL, SECAM, NTSC, NTSC 4.43, P AL -M, and P AL -N. 42 Filter count er This function is used to set a frequency f or the filter cleaning. When the projector reac hed a specified time bet ween cleanings, a Filter warning icon appears on the screen, notifying the cleaning is necessar y .
43 Input Source Information Display The Inf ormation Menu is used for c hec king the st atus of the image signal being projected and the operation of the projector . Video or S-video A color system of the connected video signal is display ed from among P AL, SECAM, NTSC, NTSC4.
44 The WARNING indicator sho ws the state of the function that protects the projector . Chec k the state of the WARNING indicator and the PO WER indicator to t ake proper maintenance. W ARNING blinking red T OP CONTROL W arning Indicator The projector is shut down and the WARNING indicator is blinking red.
45 Cleaning the RGB panels Blemishes suc h as dust and dirt on the internal optical components of the projector tend to degrade the brightness of the screen and are likely to appear as a shado w on the screen, whic h can lead to deterioration of image qualit y .
46 T urn the projector on and press the MENU button to displa y the On-Screen Menu. Select the Set ting Menu with the P oint ed but tons. 47 The air filter pre vents dust from accumulating on the surf ace of the optical elements inside the projector . Should the air filter becomes clogged with dust particles, it will reduce cooling fan ’ s ef f ectiveness and ma y result in a buildup of internal heat and adversely af f ect the lif e of the projector .
48 Be sure to reset the Filter counter af ter cleaning or replacing the air filter . Resetting the Filter Counter Filter count er T urn the projector on and press the MENU button to displa y the On-Screen Menu. Select the Set ting Menu with the P oint ed but tons.
49 When the projection lamp of this projector reac hes its end of life, the LAMP REPLA CE indicator emits yellow light. If this indicator lights yello w , replace the lamp with a new one promptly . The time when the LAMP REPLA CE indicator should light is depending on the lamp mode.
50 Be sure to reset the lamp replacement counter af ter the lamp is replaced. When the lamp replacement counter is reset, the LAMP REPLA CE indicator stops lighting . T urn the projector on and press the MENU button to displa y the On-Screen Menu. Select the Set ting Menu with the P oint ed but tons.
