7 ELECTR ICAL CONNEC TION This appliance should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a three-pro ng plug which mates with standard thr ee prong wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electrical shock.
8 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ¬ BEFORE USING YOUR WI NE CHILLER • Remove the exterior and interior packing. • Check to be sure you have all of the following parts : 1 Instruction Manual 5 Large Shelves 1 Display S helf 2 Keys • Bef ore connecting t his appliance to the power source, let it stand upright for approximately 2 hours.
9 MODEL WCR 4600S OPERATING YOUR WINE CHILLER It is recommended you ins tall the appliance in a place where the ambie nt temperature is bet ween 72- 78 degrees Fahrenheit . If the ambient temperat ure is above or belo w recommended temperat ures, the performanc e of the unit may be affect ed.
10 SPECIAL FEATURES Your unit is equipped with an ECON OMY (Vacation) MODE. This operating mode will cut energy consu mption by turning off all indicator lights and LED display while in the ECON mode. To activate the ECON mode pres s and hold the ECON selector butt on until the green indicator light is illuminated.
11 ¬ DOOR LOCK Your unit is provided with a lock and key combination. The keys are located insi de the plastic bag that contains the Us er’s Guide. Ins ert the key into the lock and turn it counterclock wise to lock the door. To lock the door do t he reverse operation making s ure metal pin is engaged completely.
12 CARE AND MAINTENANCE ¬ CLEANING YOUR WINE CHILLER • Turn off the power, unplug t he appliance, and remove all items incl uding shelves. • Wash the inside surf aces with a warm water and baking soda solut ion. The solution shoul d be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water.
