1-3 Major Safety Precautions Installation Related Warning Caution Avoid installing the product in a location exposed to direct sunlight and installing the product near a heat source such as a fire or heater. • This may shorten th e product life cycle or cause fire.
Major Safety Precautions 1-3 Usage Related Caution Avoid inserting metal objects such as a chopsticks, coins or hairpins, or inflamma- ble objects into the product (the vents, ports, etc). • If water or an alien su bstance enters the product, turn the pow er off, unplug the power cord and contact a service center.
1-3 Major Safety Precautions When cleaning the product, disconnect the power cord and clean the product with a soft dry cloth. • Avoid using chemicals such as wax, benzene, alcohol, thinner, mosquito- repellent, fragrance, lubricatio n or cleansing ag ent when clea ning the product.

If the screen is not verticall y insta lled, the picture on the screen may not be a re ctangle.
2-2-3 Installation and Connection 2-2-3 Zoom and Focus Adjustment If your product is installed at a location out of the specif ied projecti on distance (refer to Screen Size and Projection Distance), the focus cannot be adjusted correctly.

When your U300 projector is installed in a loca tion where the projection d istance matches the screen diagonal length , you will enjoy a clear screen with no distortions (keystone).

Using 3-5 This Projector uses a cooling fan system to keep the unit from over heating. Operatio n of the cooling fan may cause noise, which does not affect the pro duct perf ormance and is part of normal ope rati on.
