8 Operation Turning on the Power and Selecting a Display Language The first time you plug the power cord into an outlet, or after there has been an interruption in power, the displa y shows after four second s “ ENJOY YOUR COOKING -- -- -- PRESS MY CHOICE FOR P ER- SONAL OPTIONS ”.
9 Operation Selecting the Display Weight You can choose between po unds(LBS) and kilograms(KG). 1 Press My Choice button and then press the 2 button. The display shows : LBS OR KG PRESS MY CHOICE . 2 Press My Choice button. The display shows : LBS . 3 Press the My Choice button repeatedly to select the weig ht measuremen ts you wish to use.
10 Operation Setting and Using the Custom Cook Button The Custom Cook button memorizes the time and power settin g for a particular food. Programming the C ustom Cook button 1 Press the Custom Cook button. Press the bu tton twice to delete the previous Custom setting.
11 Operation Using the Sensor Cook Buttons By actually sensing the steam that escapes as foo d heat, this feature automatically adjusts the oven’s heating ti me for various types and amounts of precooked food. All food sh ould be precooked and at refrig- erator temper ature.
12 Operation Using the Power/Auto Defrosting Button To thaw frozen food, se t the weight of the food and the microwave auto- matically sets the defrosting time, power level and standing time. The Power Defrost function will automactically activate when defrosting foods that weigh less than 1.
13 Operation Using the Kids Meals Button 1 Press the Kids M eals button corresponding to the food you are cooking. The display shows : CHICKEN NUGGETS . Press the Kids M eals button repeatedly to select the item you want.(Refer to the Kids Meals Chart below) 2 Press the Number 1 or 2 button to select the serving size you wan t.
14 Operation Setting Cooking Times & Power Levels Your microwave allows you to set up to three different st ages of cooking, each with its own time length and powe r level. The power level lets you control the heating intensity from Warm (1) to High (0).
15 Operation Turning the Turntable On/Off For best cooking re sults, leave th e turntable on. It can be t urned off fo r large dishe s. Press Turntable On/Off button to turn the turntable on or off. Sometimes the turnta ble can become too h ot to touch.
16 Operation How to Use the Shelf When Microwaving • Make sure the shelf is positioned properly inside th e microwave to prevent damage to the oven from arcing. • Do not use a microwave browning dish on the shelf. The shelf could overheat. • Do not use the oven with the she lf on the microwave fl oor.
