If, howe ver , there are only two options, such as On/Off or Enable/ Disable , your phone highlights the option that is not currently active, so that you can select it dir ectly .

26 Section 2 Speakerphone Key Use the speakerphone key (located on the right sid e of your phone) to switch from using the earpiece to using the speake rphone dur i ng a call. Use the vo lu m e keys (located on the left si de of your phone) to adjust the volume.

28 Section 3 Making a Call When the Idle scr een display s, enter the ar ea code and phone number , and press the key . Note: When you activate the Auto Redial option in th e Extra S ettings m enu, the phone will automat ically redia l up to 10 times when the person does not answer the call or is already on the phone.
Section 3: Call Functions 29 Making a Call Section 3 Redialing the Last Number All incoming, outgoi ng and missed calls are liste d in the Recent Calls Menu. If the number or caller is liste d in your Contact List, t he name associated displays. T o access the Recent Calls menu: 1.
30 Section 3 Adjusting the Call V olume During a call, if you want to adjust the earpiece volume, use the V olume keys on the left side of the phone . Press the key to incr eas e the volume level and the key to decrease the level. In Idle mode, you can also adjust the ringer volume using these keys.

After ending the call, the phone return s to the function screen you were using. Recent Calls The phone stores the numbers of the calls you’ve dialed, r ece ive d, or mis sed in the Recent Calls menu.

Putting a Call on Hold Y ou can place the current call on hold whenever you want. Y ou can make another ca ll while you have a call in progr ess if your network supports this service.
