Speak c learly and say t he name of a pe rson in your Cont acts list, first name followed by last name. If the nam e is recogn ized, Voic e Dial repe ats the name an d dials the number .
28 If it reco gnizes the n umber , Voice Dial repeats it and dials the number . If Vo ice Di al is not sure i t has re cogniz ed the number , it display s a choice list of up to three numbers and prompts you with “ Did you say? ” followed by the first number on the list.

30 Outgoing Cal ls Y our phone retains informatio n about the last 20 outgoing calls and stores them in the Outgoi ng calls log. Y ou can revie w the Outgoing ca lls lo g for the time and date of a call, as we ll as othe r information. Note: T o qu ickly vi ew your most re cent calls, b riefly press i n standby mode.

Entering T ext 47 T ext Entry Modes T ext Entr y Modes Y ou can compose text messages using al phabetical characte rs, symbols, and numbers. Each method of character entr y (s ymbol, number , and so on) is ca lled a text entry mode. There are four text entr y m odes, as indica ted: • Alpha — Alphabetical text entr y mode.
48 1. Enter characters while in Alpha (ABC) mode by pressing the key with the desired characters (such as , pressing once for “ g”). 2. Press the key repeatedly until th e desi red character appears in the display (such as, pressing two times for “h” ).

52 Y our Contacts List Y our Contacts list can stor e up to 500 numbers, with ea ch contact having up to five associated phone numbers, an e-ma il addres s, and a picture ID. Each phone nu mber can be up to 32 digits in length, in c luding hard pauses.

The came ra screen appears in the display with your selected Color T one applied. The next time you press the Camera key ( ) or the key , the c amera applies the selected Color T one to your pi cture.
94 Shutter Sound The Shutter Sound setting lets you choose th e sound our phone plays whenever you take a picture. Aside from being a cool sound effect, Shu t ter Sound acts as an audible reminder that your camera has take n a picture. 1.
