After you have changed the settings, the channel list for each gr oup can be viewed in favourites channels.
◀ ▶ English ◀ ❑ Memorising Channels O MENU → Channel → ENTER ■ Ar ea Select your country so that the TV can corr ectly auto-tune the br oadcasting channels. ■ Auto T uning Scans for a channel automatically and stor es in the TV .
▶ ◀ ▶ English ■ Manual T uning Scans for a channel manually and stor es in the TV . N If a channel is locked using the Channel Lock function, the PIN input window appears. Enter your 4 digit PIN number(the default is 0000). N This function may not be supported depending on the r egion.
◀ ▶ English ◀ N Channel mode ● P (pr ogramme mode): When tuning is complete, the br oadcasting stations in your ar ea have been assigned to position numbers fr om P0 to P99. Y ou can select a channel by entering the position number in this mode.
▶ ◀ ▶ English ❑ Other Featur es O MENU → Channel → ENTER ■ Fine T une If the r eception is clear , you do not have to fine tune the channel, as this is done automatically during the sear ch and stor e operation. If the signal is weak or distorted, fine tune the channel manually.

◀ ▶ ◀ English ❑ Changing the Pictur e Size O MENU → Pictur e → Scr een Adjustment → ENTER ■ Scr een Adjustment ● Pictur e Size : Y our cable box/satellite r eceiver may have its own set of scr een sizes as well. However , we highly r ecommend you use 16:9 mode most of the time.
▶ ◀ ▶ English – Zoom : Magnifies the 16:9 wide pictur es vertically to fit the scr een size. N Adjusts the Zoom or Position by using , button. – 4:3 : The default setting for a movie or normal br oadcasting. N Do not watch in 4:3 format for a long time.

▶ ◀ ▶ English ● Black T one ( Of f / Dark / Darker / Darkest ): Select the black level to adjust the scr een depth. ● Dynamic Contrast ( Of f / Low / Medium / High ): Adjust the scr een contrast. ● Shadow Detail ( -2~+2 ) for LED TV : Incr ease the brightness of dark images.
◀ ▶ ◀ English ● RGB Only Mode ( Of f / Red / Gr een / Blue ): Displays the Red , Gr een and Blue colour for making fine adjustments to the hue and saturation. ● Colour Space ( Auto / Native / Custom ): Adjust the range of colours available to cr eate the image.
▶ ◀ ▶ English ● 10p White Balance ( Of f / On ): Contr ols the white balance in 10 point interval by adjusting the r ed, gr een, and blue brightness. A vailable when the pictur e mode is set to Movie and when the external input is set to all input.
◀ ▶ ◀ English ● Flesh T one : Emphasize pink “Flesh T one.” ● Edge Enhancement ( Of f / On ): Emphasize object boundaries. ● Motion Lighting (Of f / On) : Reduce power consumption by brightness contr ol. N Motion Lighting is available in Standar d / Movie mode.
▶ ◀ ▶ English ● xvYCC ( Of f / On ): Setting the xvYCC mode on incr eases detail and colour space when watching movies fr om an exter nal device (e.g. DVD player) connected to the HDMI or Component IN jacks. ◀ ▶ ◀ English ● MPEG Noise Fi lter ( Of f / Lo w / Medium / Hig h / Auto ): Reduc es MPEG noise to pr ovide impr oved pictur e quality. ● HDMI Black Level ( Low / Normal ): Selects the black level on the scr een to adjust the scr een depth. A vailable only in HDMI mode (RGB signals).
▶ ◀ ▶ English ● Motion Plus ( Of f / Clear / Standar d / Smooth / Custom / Demo ) for LED TV : Removes drag fr om fast scenes with a lot of movement to pr ovide a clear er pictur e.
◀ ▶ ◀ English Blur Reduction : Adjusts the blur r eduction level fr om video sour ces. Judder Reduct ion : Adjusts th e judder r eduction level fr om video sour ces when playing films. Reset : Reset the custom settings. ■ Reset Pictur e ( Y es / No ) Resets your curr ent pictur e mode to its default settings.
▶ ◀ ▶ English ❑ Setting up the TV with Y our PC Set the input sour ce to PC. ■ Auto Adjustment O MENU → Pictur e → Auto Adjustment → ENTER Adjust fr equency values/positions and fine tune the settings automatically. Not available when connecting with an HDMI to DVI cable.
◀ ▶ ◀ English ■ PC Scr een Adjustment O MENU → Pictur e → Scr een Adjustment → PC Scr een Adjustment → ENTER ● Coarse / Fine : Removes or r educes pictur e noise. If the noise is not r emoved by Fine-tuning alone, then adjust the fr equency as best as possible ( Coarse ) and Fine-tune again.

◀ ▶ ◀ English 4. Navigate to the “Settings” tab on the display dialog-box. ● The corr ect size setting (r esolution) [Optimum: 1920 X 1080 pixels] ● If a vertical-fr equency option exists on your display settings dialog box, the corr ect value is “60” or “60 Hz”.

▶ ◀ ▶ English ■ Speaker Settings ● Speaker Select ( Exter nal Speaker / TV Speaker ) A sound echo may occur due to a dif fer ence in decoding speed between the main speaker and the audio r eceiver . In this case, set the TV to Exter nal Speaker .
◀ ▶ ◀ English ● Auto V olume ( Of f / Normal / Night ) T o equalize the volume level on each channel, set to Normal . Night : This mode pr ovides an impr oved sound experience compar ed to Normal mode, making almost no noise. It is useful at night.

◀ ▶ English If the ster eo signal is weak and an automatic switching occurs, then switch to the mono. Only activated in ster eo sound signal.
◀ ▶ Prefer ence Featur es English ❑ Setting the Network ■ Connecting to a Wir ed Network Y ou can attach your TV to your LAN using cable in thr ee ways: ● Y ou can attach your TV to your LAN by connecting the LAN port on the back of your TV to an exter nal modem using a LAN cable.
◀ ▶ ◀ English ● Y ou can attach your TV to your LAN by connecting the LAN port on the back of your TV to a IP Shar er which is connected to an exter nal modem.
▶ ◀ ▶ English ● Depending on how your network is configur ed, you may be able to attach your TV to your LAN by connecting the LAN port on the back of your TV dir ectly to a network wall outlet using a LAN cable. See the diagram below . Note that the wall outlet is attached to a modem or r outer elsewher e in your house.
◀ ▶ ◀ English ● If you have a Dynamic Network, you should use an ADSL modem or r outer that supports Dynamic Host Configuration Pr otocol (DHCP). Modems and r outers that support DHCP automatically pr ovide the IP addr ess, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS values your TV needs to access the Inter net so you do not have to enter them manually.

◀ ▶ ◀ English How to set up using One Foot Connection T ur n on the power of wir eless r outer and TV . 1. Go to Network Settings scr een. T o enter it, follow the dir ections of Network Settings .
▶ ◀ ▶ English N If One Foot Connection does not connect your TV to your AP , a pop-up window appears on the scr een notifying you of the failur e. If you want to try using One Foot Connection again, r eset the wir eless r outer disconnect the Samsung W ir eless LAN adapter and then try again fr om Step 1.
◀ ▶ ◀ English ■ SWL(Samsung Wir eless Link) This function lets you connect a Samsung device that supports the WPS(PBC) to your TV . Y ou can connect devices to the TV even if a shar er is not connected to the TV . N For the TV to use SMAR T HUB , the AP (access point) must be connected to the wir eless network.
▶ ◀ ▶ English ■ Connect SWL Y ou can dir ectly connect a device that supports the WPS(PBC) to the TV . N This function is available when SWL(Samsung Wir eless Link) is set to On . N T o use the SWL (Samsung Wir eless Link) function, connect the Samsung W ir eless LAN Adpater to the USB 1 (HDD) port.

◀ ▶ ◀ English If Y our TV Fails to Connect to the Inter net Y our TV may not be able to connect to the Inter net because your ISP has permanently reg- ister ed the MAC addr ess (a unique identifying number) of your PC or modem, which it then authenticates each time you connect to the Inter net as a way of pr eventing unauthorized access.
▶ ◀ ▶ English ❑ Setting the Time O MENU → System → Time → ENTER ■ Time ● Clock Set : Set the Date and Time . Setting the clock is for using various timer featur es of the TV . The curr ent time will appear every time you pr ess the INFO button.
◀ ▶ ◀ English Using the Sleep Timer O MENU → System → Time → ENTER ● Sleep Timer : Automatically shuts of f the TV after a pr eset period of time. (30, 60, 90, 120, 150 and 180 minutes). N T o cancel Sleep Timer , select Of f .
