▶ English Channel Menu ❑ Using the Channel Menu T o access the Channel menu, pr ess the SMAR T HUB button on your r emote. After Smart Hub appears, use the arr ow buttons on your r emote to select Channel , and then pr ess the ENTER button.
◀ ▶ English ◀ Using the Timer Viewing Y ou can set the TV to display a desir ed channel automatically on a day and at a time of your choice. N Y ou must set the curr ent time first using the Time → Clock function in the System menu to use this function.

◀ ▶ English ◀ ● Added Channels : Shows all added channels. ● Favorites 1-5 : Shows all favorite channels, in up to five gr oups. Each gr oup has a separate scr een. N If you want to view the list of favorite channels, pr ess the CH LIST button, and then pr ess the ( CH Mode ) button to display Favorites 1-5.

◀ ▶ English ◀ How to use Timer Viewing in Channel List (digital channels only) Y ou can use Timer Viewing in the Channel List to schedule a digital channel pr ogram for viewing. The TV will tur n on and display the digital channel pr ogram when the pr ogram begins.

▶ ◀ ▶ English ❑ Using the Favorite Channels ■ Favorites O SMAR T HUB → Favorites → ENTER View all of your favorite channels. Y our favorite channels ar e organized in up to five gr oups ( Favorites 1-5 ). If you want to change fr om one favorite gr oup to another , follow these steps: 1.

◀ ▶ English ◀ T o select Air or Cable , follow these steps: 1. Push MENU → Channel → ENTER on your r emote. 2. Select Antenna , and then pr ess ENTER . 3. Select the sour ce of your TV signal, Air or Cable , and then pr ess the RETURN button.
▶ ◀ ▶ English ■ Auto Pr ogram Scans for channels automatically and stor es them in the TV’ s memory. T o start Auto Pr ogram , follow these steps: 1. Push MENU → Channel → ENTER on your r emote. 2. Select Auto Pr ogram , and then pr ess ENTER .

◀ ▶ English ■ Fine T une (analog channels only) If the r eception is clear , you do not have to fine tune the channel, as this is done automatically during the sear ch and stor e operation. If the signal is weak or distorted, fine tune the channel manually.

▶ ◀ ▶ English Zoom1 : Use for moderate magnification. Cuts of f the top and sides. Zoom2 : Use for a str onger magnification. Wide Fit : Enlarges the aspect ratio of the pictur e so it fits the entir e scr een. A vailable with HD 1080i / 720p signals in 16:9 mode.
◀ ▶ English ◀ Scr een Fit : When your TV inputs HDMI (720p / 1080i / 1080p) or Component (1080i / 1080p) signals, displays the full image without any cut-of f. Smart View 1 : Reduces the 16:9 picture by 50%. for LED TV Smart View 2 : Reduces the 16:9 picture by 25%.

◀ ▶ English ◀ ● Auto V olume (Of f / Normal / Night) Normal equalizes the volume level on each channel, so that when you change channels, the volume level is the same. Night equalizes and decr ease the volume level on each channel, so each channel is quieter .

◀ ▶ English ◀ Prefer ence Featur es ❑ Wir ed Network Setting ■ Connecting to a Wir ed Network Ther e ar e thr ee ways to attach your TV to your LAN using cable: ● Y ou can attach your TV to your LAN by connecting the LAN port on the back of your TV to an exter nal modem using a LAN cable.
▶ ◀ ▶ English ● Y ou can attach your TV to your LAN by connecting the LAN port on the back of your TV to an IP Shar er which is connected to an exter nal modem.
◀ ▶ English ◀ ● Depending on how your network is configur ed, you may be able to attach your TV to your LAN by connecting the LAN port on the back of your TV dir ectly to a network wall outlet using a LAN cable. See the diagram below . Note that the wall outlet is attached to a modem or r outer elsewher e in your house.

Enter the first portion of the IP Addr ess (for example, 105) into the first entry field using the number keys on your r emote.

▶ ◀ ▶ English This TV supports the IEEE 802.11a/b/g and n communication pr otocols. Samsung r ecommends using IEEE 802.11n. When you play video over a IEEE 802.11b/g connection, the video may not play smoothly. NOTE ● T o use a wir eless network, your TV must be connected to a wir eless IP shar er (either a r outer or a modem).

◀ ▶ English ◀ 4. In the list of networks, pr ess the or button to select a network, and then pr ess the ENTER button twice. N If the wir eless r outer is set to Hidden (Invisible), you have to select Add Network and enter the corr ect network Name (SSID) and Security key to establish the connection.
▶ ◀ ▶ English 6. Enter the Security key (Security key or PIN). N When you enter the Security key (Security key or PIN), use the / / / buttons on your r emote to select number/characters. Pr ess ENTER to enter the characters.
